What you're coming for.
You don't quite recognise yourself any more. In photographs you look tired, or faded, or simply absent. You've been avoiding the camera for months, perhaps for years.
The Discovery half day is made for women who are still hesitating. We begin by talking — really talking, with no questionnaire and no method. Then, when you're ready and only then, we photograph. There is no one else: no group, no audience, no gaze to face down. Just you, the person with you, and the photographer.
How the day runs

The shape of the day is set so that you have nothing to decide. All you have to do is come.

We meet
A cup of tea, and as long as it takes. We talk about what brought you here, with no set list of questions.

We name it
Putting precise words to what has changed, and to the way you see yourself.

We photograph
A first spell in front of the lens. No poses, entirely at your pace.

We say goodbye
Your images arrive within 10 days, in a private gallery.

What we're asked.
Is 4 hours enough?
To meet, to name what's in the way and to make a first set of images, yes. The Discovery pass doesn't claim to change everything: it starts things off. Many women go on to book the full day afterwards.
Will I be on my own or with other women?
On your own. Every one of our days is one to one, without exception. There is no group, no collective workshop, no onlookers.
What if I don't like being photographed?
That's true of nearly every woman who comes. It's often the very reason she comes. No poses, and you choose which images you keep.
Can I move up to the full day later?
Yes. What you paid for the Discovery pass is deducted if you book The Experience within 6 months.
