How it works

What you're coming for.
There comes a point when you stop recognising yourself. After having a baby, a break-up, burnout, a change of career or the arrival of menopause: the body or the life has changed, and the way you see yourself hasn't caught up.
The full day is built for exactly that. We begin with a long conversation — the part most women dread and end up loving most. We have lunch. Then we photograph, once something has already shifted. The images that come out of it aren't flattering photographs: they're proof. A visible anchor, yours to keep for life.
How the day runs
9 am – 6 pm
Hour by hour.
The shape of the day is set so that you have nothing to decide. All you have to do is come.

We meet
Breakfast, and time to get to know one another without reciting a CV.

We talk
The real conversation. What has changed, what you no longer dare do, what you'd like to find again.
- 12.30 pm
We have lunch
A proper break, at the table. That's often where things get said.

We photograph
The session, at your pace, with no poses. We stop when it feels right.
- 4.30 pm
We look
The first images, together. The moment when many women see themselves differently.

We say goodbye
A follow-up call two weeks later.

The Experience
What we're asked.
Why a whole day?
Because the first few hours are what let you unwind. Confidence in front of a lens can't be summoned to order: it comes once you've been listened to. That's why we don't photograph until early afternoon.
Will I be on my own or with other women?
On your own, always. Kaina runs no seminars and no group workshops. The day is entirely one to one.
What if I freeze in front of the lens?
That's expected, and it's normal. Nothing is ever forced. Some women start with their back turned, or walking, or talking. The best images often come once you've stopped trying.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. No outfit, no speech, no make-up. Come as you are — that's precisely the point.
When do I get the images?
Your retouched gallery arrives within 10 working days, in a private space that only you can share.
