Nadia, 44
In her own words.
Nadia spent twenty years in Geneva finance. An enviable job, a salary that made any complaint feel illegitimate, and for the last three years a feeling she describes very simply: “getting up every morning to go and live someone else's life”.
She chose the Signature format for the video call beforehand. “I needed to know what I was getting into. I control everything — it's my job.”
The morning was spent writing. Not talking: writing. Four pages on what she would do if judgement didn't exist. In the afternoon the photo session was short — Nadia doesn't like to linger — but she asked to see the images twice.
“It wasn't a photograph that made me resign. But whenever I had doubts, I looked at it, and I saw someone who had already decided. That's what an anchor is.”
